FIAF offers official certification/proficiency exams that are useful for school records, university applications, career requirements, and more.

In agreement with the Service de Coopération et d’Action Culturelle (SCAC) of the French Embassy, FIAF offers French proficiency evaluations to French students and workers who live in the U.S.

FIAF organizes individual or group exams at FIAF for any French citizen who needs to take exams in any discipline (math, languages, marketing, laws, etc.) at both Bachelors and Master’s degree level.

For individual exams, FIAF is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm. Exams are held at FIAF, 22 East 60th Street, NYC.

Please complete one of these registration forms and mail, fax, or email it along with the name and address of your school, and an email address of the person to be contacted.

Non-refundable fee of $70 per hour per participant.

Exam fee must be paid in full at time of registration. Additional fees may be required by your school. Acceptable forms of payment are credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express).

In case of cancellation, you must notify the Language Center by email at languagecenter@fiaf.org. The exam fee is non-refundable.
