John & Francine Haskell Library at FIAF
The John and Francine Haskell Library, located on the 2nd floor of FIAF’s historic Beaux-Arts building in Manhattan, is one of the largest private French libraries in the country with an extensive collection of books, magazines, French study guides, and DVDs.
Become a FIAF Member to enjoy borrowing privileges at the library, as well as free access to the Culturethèque digital library and free admission to all library programs.

Relax with a book in the Reading Room, access French language learning resources at The Jacques and Alexandre Leviant Centre d’Auto-Apprentissage, visit The Dillon Family Centre de Ressources for informational services, and bring the kids to the cozy Espace Jeunesse, a dedicated space for young readers.

Bring your toddler to the FIAF Library for storytime in French! Little ones will enjoy interactive stories, games, and songs, all in a group setting. Held in the Library’s adorable Kids’ Room, each session will also include a fun arts & crafts activity.
