Discovering fashion, food traditions, wildlife, or the environment, amongst many other subjects, everyone will find a unique way to discover or improve, and more importantly, have fun in French with FIAF this summer.
Teens will improve their French by exploring a different topic every week. Through interactive workshops and visits around the city, teens will step out of the classroom and use their language skills in real-world situations.
Open to all levels of French including complete beginners.

Cooking workshop: “C’est un pic, c’est un roc, que dis-je, c’est une péninsule!” Familiar with this quote? Cyrano de Bergerac, a French play by Edmond de Rostand, is known also because there is a great variety of food on the characters’ table. Cheese tasting at the French Cheese Board: “Maître Corbeau, sur un arbre perché, tenait en son bec un fromage…” Well, our teens will be discovering cheese that could have been in Maître Corbeau’s mouth, as specialists still can’t agree if the raven was holding a brie or a camembert…we’ll have to try them both!Fri, July 28:
