John & Francine Haskell Library at FIAF

The John and Francine Haskell Library, located on the 2nd floor of FIAF’s historic Beaux-Arts building in Manhattan, is one of the largest private French libraries in the country with an extensive collection of books, magazines, French study guides, and DVDs.

Become a FIAF Member to enjoy borrowing privileges at the library, as well as free access to the Culturethèque digital library and free admission to all library programs.

Culturethèque Digital Library

Culturethèque is in transformation! Starting Dec. 8th, it will not be possible to create a new user account until the new Culturethèque site is launched in January. Culturethèque will be unavailable to all users from Jan 1-8, 2024. Stay tuned for the reveal in January!

Bring your toddler to the FIAF Library for storytime in French! Little ones will enjoy interactive stories, games, and songs, all in a group setting. Held in the Library’s adorable Kids’ Room, each session will also include a fun arts & crafts activity.
