Bring your budding intellectual to explore some of life’s biggest questions! This year, parents are also invited to engage in conversation about encouraging their children’s development.

Returning for its fifth edition at TILT, thinkers specializing in philosophical practices with children will lead workshops on themes concerning language and communicating emotions—both verbally and non-verbally. While words are essential for conveying ideas and thoughts, they are often feeble and tragically inadequate for expressing how we feel. Younger kids will explore this quandary using children’s books as a point of departure, while older kids will consider it through improvisation and movement. Again this year, adults are invited to simultaneously engage in a conversation on the same topic to encourage constructive family dialogue.
